We want to welcome you to the Children’s Clothes Closet at Calvary Espanola.

 

Most children’s clothes are outgrown rather than worn out. Most of these clothes have a lot of good wear still in them. Here in Espanola, the options become limited in how to have these clothes used. Donating to the ‘drop off’ boxes, and other charities are good – but the items do not remain here in our community.

 

The Children’s Clothes Closet has a mandate to keep all the donated clothes local, for local distribution. All items are donated and freely provided.With this in mind, we are not a thrift store, we freely give away all clothes, no strings attached. 

 

Presently our program offers clothing from Newborn to sizes 12x. This program will continue to work only if we can access used clothes brought in by you, our fellow residents of Espanola and surrounding areas. It is with this, we ask you to think of us and bring in your gently used, outgrown children’s clothing. Likewise, if you are in need of clothes, you come by, take what you need and down the road donate what no longer fits your child.

 

During the clothes closet, the nursery is open so you can collect what you need while your children play. Volunteers are present to assist you and the coffee is always hot if you want to stick around and just have some conversation. 

 

Calvary is affiliated with The Fellowship of Evangelical Baptist Churches in Canada. This consisting of 500+ churches across Canada; 270+ being here in Ontario and Quebec (for more information please visit (www.febcentral.ca)
